Camper fees may be paid by the individual camper,
parent or guardian, by a local Jaycee Chapter or any other agency
or organization. Camperships are available, and the amount available
is based on individual need. A camper does not need not to be sponsored
by a Jaycee Chapter to attend.
It is the responsibility of the camper or caregiver
to contact the camper's sponsor to determine if sponsorship will
be available in 2011.
Many community members, companies, and Civic organizations
may choose to sponsor a camper at Camp Virginia Jaycee. Click here
for a sample letter.
** A limited number of camperships may be available
for the 2011 camping season. To apply, financial assistance MUST
be requested at the time of application to be considered. Even though
you may have received a campership in a previous year, availability
of camperships is not guaranteed for 2011.
To request further information on the availability
of camperships, and to learn how to apply for a campership, please
send an e-mail to info@campvajc.org.
Camperships are considered in the order they are
received. The Board of Directors of Camp Virginia Jaycee, Inc. reserves
the right to provide priority consideration to applicants who are
either able to self-fund or who have applied for funding for any
part of the camping fee through a government agency or any other
organization.
