Camp Virginia Jaycee will be offering camper
scholarships for the 2010 camping season. The application
along with the process for submitting the application will
be posted on the Camps website soon. Each camper will
be notified of the amount of the camper scholarship by the
end of May. The amount received will be based on financial
need. Please keep checking our website for updates! If you

The Mission: To provide
an outdoor education and recreation experience for persons with
special needs |
CVJC is a 501(c)3 non profit organization where
children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
can participate in games, partake in new experiences, learn to appreciate
the outdoors, and have fun. Our facility is located on 90 acres
in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Bedford, Virginia.
Goals
To contribute to the mental and
physical well-being and development of children and adults with
special needs through an organized program.
To provide activities which develop a feeling of self confidence
through accomplishments and foster a feeling of self worth.
To promote the development of interpersonal relationships and social
skills which will help children and adults adjust to a world outside
their immediate family.
To provide the opportunity for respite
to family members.
